During 2020, DSI was engaged to provide support to a large German automotive development service provider. The project involved taking a prototype Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) around the East Coast of Australia, to test the charging infrastructure and its association with the vehicle. This required DSI to import an engineering test vehicle from Japan, obtain the necessary regulatory testing approvals and then assist with the vehicle fit-out and subsequent testing. Using our state-of-the-art facility to store and equip the vehicle, the inevitable teething issues with such projects were quickly resolved in-house.
